Three words that describe me are loving, compassionate and genuine
My perfect meal is homemade, veg and full of love
Coffee or Tea?: Tea
Other than Asha you might see me around Sacramento at the Co-Op
I highly recommend doing something out of the ordinary every day.
I am thankful for interconnectedness and the ability to be open to change.
I hope for everyone to experience inner peace, love and presence and to know that is who they authentically are.
I love meditation, long talks about life, love, connection, spirit and discovery, becoming aware of what makes me smile, dancing, outdoor music festivals, food, tea, chocolate, colorful socks and a good book.
I’m scared of microwaves!
Yoga has taught me how to slow down and be present
I am inspired by those who love to learn and equally by those who love to teach
Three words to describe my teaching style are calm, mindful and accommodating
One of my favorite yoga books is anything written by Rumi
Music you might hear in my class kirtan, reggae, nature sounds or your neighboring yogi engaged in mindful breathing.
My yoga experience includes: 200-Hour RYT at Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat, Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas in Classical Hatha Yoga as taught by Swami Vishnu Devananda in January 2011. Upon my return I completed a Mini-Yogis training for children. Initially, I started out sampling Bikram and Power Yoga and landed softly into Asha Yoga for a ten day trial in 2009, fell in love, and have been practicing asana here ever since.
