We are passionate about using Asha Yoga to guide inspired yogis and yoginis off of their yoga mats and into the community through our Community Outreach Program. We want people to practice yoga: in schools, in shelters, at home, everywhere…

The community outreach program needs YOUR participation.
If you feel passionate about yoga and inspired to share the gifts of this amazing practice, this is your opportunity. In one weekend you can learn to teach at a “non-professional” volunteer level at schools, orphanages, homeless shelters, Senior Care Centers, Assisted living facilities and more. You can help others with less opportunity to experience the gifts and benefits of yoga. After the weekend training we’ll connect you with a facility in need of a yogi volunteer and we’ll provide you with continued education and discussion in scheduled support meetings.

The cost for the weekend training program is $250 and there is no cost for the support meetings.

This program is especially beneficial if you:

• Are interested in exploring the possibility of teaching yoga professionally.
• Are looking for a way to share the inspiration and benefits you have received from yoga.
• Would like to add volunteer work to your professional and/or personal resume.
• Are filled with gratitude for all you have and just want to give something special to someone else.
