Nervous about the “Yoga Scene’?
We get it. As much as we don’t like to admit it, there is a yoga scene. There’s a lingo, there’s people in trendy and expensive yoga clothing, people who are thin, people who are flexible, and there’s people who have been practicing yoga for a long time and know what the teacher is talking about even if he/she says something in Sanskrit.
We love those people. As much as we love those who don’t fit that description, who may be attending a beginning yoga class for the first time. And there’s plenty of people who fit that description around our Sacramento yoga studio too.
I promise you that the overall vibe at Asha Yoga is warm, welcoming and beginner friendly. We believe that yoga class is a place where people come to learn and we know it’s our job to teach you. Everyone is welcome to come and practice in our range of yoga classes, beginners and seasoned yogi's alike will appreicate the blend of simplicity and depth that we offer.
By the way, if you’re not flexible it doesn’t mean you can’t do yoga. It means you should do yoga to build flexibility and mobility.
So, forget about being nervous. And if you can’t forget, push through. You’ll learn, you’ll grow, you’ll feel great, and you won’t regret it.
