Other than Asha, you might see me around Sacramento at The Coop, in my front yard on a mission to grow my own veggies or with a laboring mama at a local hospital/birth center (I’m a doula!).

I highly recommend living in another country

I am thankful for opportunities to be raw, real and vulnerable, with loved ones and perfect strangers.

I hope for lots of laugh lines.

I love books, wine, chocolate, travel, sun and my man—preferably all together.

I’m scared of car accidents

Yoga has taught me to breathe.

I am inspired by women, of all ages, those married and single, with big families or four-legged babies, who are following their hearts and spreading the love.

One of my favorite yoga books is “Heart Yoga: the sacred marriage of yoga & mysticism” by Andrew Harvey & Karuna Erickson

Music you might hear in my class world beats, Little Dragon, Sylvan Esso, Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, Trevor hall and anything soulful!

My yoga experience includes: Years of practice and “learning” yoga in its various asana forms (power, hatha, Anusara, Forrest, Jivamukti), but now it’s evolved to a practice of embodiment, on and off the mat. Formally trained in power yoga (200 hours) and spent my first years as a teacher in a great community of yogis in Lima, Peru. I specialize in prenatal yoga, with over 100 hours of training and a RPYT (registered prenatal yoga teacher) designation by the yoga alliance.
